Alianza Biohealth is a global testing coordination company that connects patients and practitioners with accredited international laboratories. The name "Alianza" means alliance in Spanish, reflecting our mission to bring together patients, providers, and lab partners to improve access to advanced functional medicine testing.
No. Alianza Biohealth does not perform testing or provide medical treatment. We coordinate access to laboratory testing through our partner labs and support patients and practitioners with guidance, logistics, and next steps. We are a testing coordination and support service.
We provide access to specialized laboratory testing not typically available through conventional healthcare channels. Our partner labs offer advanced diagnostics for complex conditions, including persistent infections, environmental toxins, genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, and metabolic dysfunction. We also offer hands-on, personalized support — not an automated platform.
Alianza Biohealth was founded by Wil, whose personal experience navigating his newborn son's life-threatening food allergies led him to connect with healthcare innovators around the world. With more than 20 years of functional lab expertise, Wil built a global network of accredited lab partners with a single goal: making superior diagnostic testing accessible to every patient who needs it.
Our team provides support in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and German.
Yes. We support patients worldwide through remote coordination, making advanced testing accessible regardless of location.
Yes. If you are not working with a practitioner, that is not a problem. We work with you to determine the best testing based on your health history and help you with the logistics of collecting your sample and shipping it to our lab partners.
We offer a checklist system originally developed by Dr. Armin Schwarzbach, founder of ArminLabs, to help patients narrow down the most relevant testing based on their symptoms. Checklists are available for Lyme and co-infections, mycotoxins, parasites, and Long COVID. We can also help personalize your needs through a Zoom or phone call.
Yes. Our list of practitioners is broad and encompasses a wide range of specialties, including tick-borne diseases, post-COVID syndrome, mycotoxin toxicity, viral infections, and parasitic infections. We work with both in-person and telehealth practitioners.
We support testing for a wide range of complex and chronic health concerns, including tick-borne diseases and co-infections, chronic bacterial, fungal, and viral infections, toxic pollutants and mycotoxins, food sensitivities, organic acids and metabolic function, hormonal health, genetic predispositions, and gut and microbiome health.
The process begins with a personalized consultation to review your health history and goals. We then help you select the most relevant tests, coordinate sample collection, manage shipping to the lab, and support you through receiving and understanding your results. You are never expected to navigate this process alone.
Most tests require simple blood, urine, saliva, or stool samples. Depending on the test, collection can take place at home, at a local lab, or through a mobile phlebotomy service. We provide clear instructions and all necessary materials.
Yes. For blood tests that require a blood draw, we have partnered with mobile and collection services. Some tests also offer at-home collection device options.
Yes. We have developed protocols to ensure your samples arrive safely and on time. This includes appropriate customs paperwork, prepaid shipping labels, and kits that comply with international regulations for the transportation of biological samples.
We accept all major credit cards, ACH, PayPal, and various international methods of payment. You can also order tests directly through our online shop.
Coverage varies by insurance plan and the specific tests ordered. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm coverage. Our team is also happy to discuss your options during a consultation.
Turnaround times vary depending on the specific tests ordered, typically ranging from one to three weeks. More complex tests, such as genetic analysis, may take up to four weeks. We will provide an estimated timeframe when your tests are ordered and will notify you as soon as your results are available.
Once your results are available, you will receive clear documentation along with access to independent consultants who can assist with interpretation. We can also help connect you with practitioners if additional guidance or treatment support is needed.

ArminLabs is a specialty laboratory located in Augsburg, Germany, recognized for advanced testing in chronic bacterial and viral infections. They are particularly known for their work in Lyme disease, Long COVID, viral reactivation, parasitic infections, and co-infections. Their founder, Dr. Armin Schwarzbach, also developed the checklist system Alianza Biohealth uses to help patients and practitioners narrow down relevant testing.
The FRAT test is available exclusively through Religen and is the only test of its kind in the world. It is relevant for conditions where folate receptor antibodies are present, which has been associated with certain developmental and neurological conditions.
The Organic Acids Test is widely considered one of the most comprehensive metabolic snapshots available. It was pioneered by Mosaic DX and provides insight into metabolic pathways, nutritional status, mitochondrial function, and more.
Real Time Lab was the first laboratory in the world to develop a mycotoxins test designed to detect toxins derived from mold exposure. Their testing is particularly valuable for patients with suspected mold-related illness.
